We are having a holiday party on Friday. So Dave thought a fire pit would be nice for people to stand around to keep warm. It could be an extension of our house. We tried it out tonight. It is very cozy. I think we all had a good time. Except for Sloane. She pooped out early.

Thanks for many things...
For Thanksgiving, we went to Flagstaff to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa. While we were there, the kids helped decorate their Christmas tree. Then, before we left today, we celebrated Sloane's and Pap-pa Gary's birthdays. Sloane's birthday is December 11th and Pap-pa's is November 30th. Happy Birthday to you both!!!

Snow People
Usually in our community, there is a snowman making contest at the Hometown Holidays celebration. But this year they are cutting back. :o( So, these two cuties will not be entered. I started knitting them before I found out that the contest was excluded.
The good news is, that some lucky soul will receive them as a Christmas gift! :o)

The Polar Express
Grandma and Grandpa from Flagstaff treated us to The Polar Express on Friday night. Williams, Arizona recreates the story The Polar Express every year for children of all ages to experience first-hand what it might have felt like for those in the story.

We have a jack-o-lantern! Yay!!
Quinn is 6.3 years old and has lost his first tooth. He was SOooo cute when he found it loose in the first place. He came running to Dave and I to tell us that he has a loose tooth!! And he was excited, he said, because "I've never had a loose tooth before. This is my first one!" It took 2 days for him to wiggle it free. But now he is one happy camper because the tooth fairy brought him $1 in exchange for his tooth. Right on!!
