Today the kids we in an artistic mood. They grabbed the sidewalk chalk and created awesome pictures from the front door, down the sidewalk to the front sidewalk and all the way down a couple of houses. They were very intent on creating works of art. I loved watching them. As you can see, a few of the neighbors joined in, as well. Fun was had by all.

I saw this meal on one of my Unschooling yahoo groups and had the opportunity to try it out on the kids tonight.  I thought it looked really fun AND yummy!  Can you see what is going on with the spaghetti?  The noodles go THROUGH the hotdogs!  It is THE coolest thing EVER!  And the kids thought so too.  Finally, all three ate a meal that I cooked.  AMAZING!

Today was one of those really GREAT days.  The kids ALL got along.  There was no bickering.  All I heard was laughter and saw smiles today.  This morning we went to Goodwill to find the kids some shorts for summer.  They were all very excited about what they picked out.  It was fun to be able to say "yes" to whatever they wanted since the prices are VERY reasonable.  I love being able to say YES.  It feels so good.  Then this evening we went to Lyndzy's last choral presentation for the year.  They were GREAT!  And so cute.  While we were waiting for the show to start, Quinn and Zane had fun taking pictures, entertaining themselves.

This is one of Sloane's very best friends.  Her name is Micaiah.  She is our homeschool friend and also our babysitter.  She and Sloane really hit it off!  We love you Micaiah!  :o)

Today Quinn wanted to go skating at this skatepark.  It is very far away.  So we don't go often.  What a treat it was for him!!  He had such a great time.  And Sloane took her roller skates.  She too had a really fun time riding on the small hills.

Today we went to our Peaceful Homeschoolers park day up north of Union Hills.  There were only a handful of families there.  But that didn't stop us from having fun.  The girls dressed up and put on a fashion show.  They were just darling!  Check it out...

Dave and I went to the local pta fundraiser and won a HUGE basket of crafts in the silent auction.  The kids are having a ball with all the stuff today.  Below, Sloane is doing the paint-by-number page.

Their craft table is full of all the stuff from the basket.  Sloane had to get it all out to see what everything was.
